Ganada Elementary School Counselor

I am so excited to be a part of Ganado ISD! As the elementary school counselor, my top priority is meeting the needs of our students while fostering a safe environment where they can explore and understand their emotions. I wholeheartedly believe that kindness and collaboration are essential to success. Together—as students, parents/guardians, educators, and the tribe that is Ganado—we will do great things!

I’ve been in education for thirteen years. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from UHV and later pursued my lifelong goal of becoming a school counselor, earning my master’s degree in School Counseling from Lamar University, inspired by the support of my family.

My husband and I have a blended family, and together we have five beautiful children. In my free time, I enjoy reading, going to concerts, thrifting, cooking, watching Netflix, and spending time with family and friends.
