Ganado HS Homecoming Candidate Biographies
Representing the Class of 2023 is Jaden Danelle Rosalez. Jaden is the daughter of Joey and Tanya Rosalez. Jaden is escorted tonight by her father Joey. She is a member of the Varsity Cheer squad, participates in Volleyball, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, National Honor Society and plans on playing Basketball and Track during the spring. Her favorite hobbies include playing sports, running, traveling, and shopping. Jaden’s most memorable moment of this year is being elected to represent the Freshman class at homecoming. Representing the Class of 2022 is Jacey Michelle Edwards. Jacey is daughter of Tiffany Perez and Brandon Edwards. Jacey is escorted tonight by her father Brandon. Throughout school, Jacey has participated in Volleyball, Basketball, Track, JV and Varsity Cheer, and Varsity Softball. She has been a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Spanish Club, TAFE, and Class President of the Sophomore class. Jacey’s most memorable moment in high school so far is “Winning Homecoming Court and Being elected Class President of the Sophomore class”. Representing the Class of 2021 is Madison Leigh Hudson. Madison is the daughter of Jonathan and Jackie Hudson. Madison is escorted tonight by her father Jonathan. Throughout her high school years Madison has participated in Band, Volleyball, Softball, JV Cheer, Cheerleading Manager, Track, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, FFA, Future Leaders of America, TAFE, UIL, and showed pigs in the Jackson County Youth Fair. Madison has competed in the UIL Cheer Competition, received All American Cheerleader at Cheer camp, received 1st place in Listening Skills and 4th place in Oral Reading for academic UIL. Her most memorable moment of High school is when she received All American Cheerleader and was able to cheer at the Citrus Bowl in Florida. Madison enjoys baking cookies, hanging out with her friends and traveling with her family. Representing the Class of 2020 is Queen Candidate Annabelle Fowler Prove. Annabelle is the 18 year old daughter of Aaron and Amy Prove. Annabelle is escorted tonight by her father Aaron. Annabelle is a Senior here at Ganado High School. Throughout her high school years Annabelle has participated in Band, Future Leaders of America (selected as treasurer her junior year), 4-H, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, TAFE (selected as president her 11th and 12th grade year), Spanish Club, Student Council, member of the PALS organization, First Team All District Softball, Varsity Golf (being a Regional Qualifier her sophomore year). All while maintaining A/B Honor Roll all four years. Her most memorable moment is when her 2017-2018 girls Golf team went to the regional tournament. Annabelle loves golfing, cooking, traveling and reading. After high school she plans on attending Austin Community College’s Dental Hygiene Program to pursue a future in Dental Hygiene. A statement that Annabelle lives by each day, “Life is short so live it to the fullest. Representing the Class of 2020 is Queen Candidate Molly Rose Janssen. Molly is the daughter of Kevin and Christy Janssen. Molly is escorted tonight by her father Kevin. Molly is a senior here at Ganado High School. Throughout her high school years Molly has participated in Varsity Volleyball (being named academic all district and honorable mention all district her 9th and 10th grade years), Varsity Basketball (being named academic all district her 9th and 10th grade years), Varsity Softball (being named honorable mention out fielder her 9th and 10th grade years, 2nd team outfielder her 11th grade year and academic all district her 9th, 10th and 11th grade years). She served as the Volleyball and basketball Manager her Junior year. Molly is an avid cheerleader being on Varsity three of the four years in high school. She attended the Varsity Cheer State Competition her junior year and was chosen as a UCA All American Cheerleader at cheer camp this year. Molly has been a member of TAFE, Student Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (being named Chaplain her 9th grade year, Captain her senior year), PALS organization, Art Club (being named treasurer her 11th grade year), Yearbook, National Honor Society and is currently the Senior Class Treasurer. Molly has been a member of the Ganado Education Foundation Top Ten, received the Spanish Award, Art Award, Yearbook Award, was awarded the Top of the Class award her 9th, 10th, and 11th grade years, received 93+ Honor Roll her Freshman year and 90+ Honor Roll her 10th and 11th grade years. Her most memorable high school moment is being a part of Ganado’s first cheer competition cheer squad. In her spare time, Molly enjoys cheerleading, traveling, and watching Netflix. Molly has big plans on going to Texas A&M and eventually going into Pediatric Medicine. Representing the Class of 2020 is Queen Candidate Kennedy Cortes. Kennedy is the daughter of Billy and Brittani Cortes. She is escorted tonight by her father Billy. Kennedy is a senior here at Ganado High School. Throughout her high school years Kennedy has participated in Jv and Varsity Volleyball (receiving Academic All District her junior year), Basketball, Varsity Track (qualifying for Area in the 1600 meter relay her freshman year, 2nd place District Pole Vaulter also qualifying for area her sophomore year), Varsity cheerleading and is the Captain for the ‘19/’20 cheer squad (Receiving UCA All American her 10th, 11th and 12th grade years) Kennedy has participated in the 2019 New Years Day parade in London, England and is set to participate in the 2020 New Years Day Parade in Rome, Italy. She also competed in Ganado’s first ever State Cheer Competition. Kennedy is also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (being named Jr. Class Chaplain and named Vice-President senior year), Future Leaders of America, FFA, National Honor Society (holding the Treasurer seat senior year), Art Club, and a member of the PALS Organization. Kennedy served as Freshman Class Treasurer, Sophomore Vice President and Senior Class Vice President and she represented her Freshman and Junior Class on the Homecoming Court. Kennedy has been a member of the Ganado Education Foundation’s Top 10, received 90+ Honor Roll award and Computer Programming Award. Her most memorable moment of High School is when she traveled the world with her mom to attend the 2019 London New Year’s Day Parade. Her hobbies include being a Laynilou’s Photography 2020 Senior Representative. During the fall of 2020 Kennedy plans to attend the University of Texas in Austin, majoring in Biology. She hopes to be accepted into Medical School where she will become an OB-GYN. Kennedy would like to leave you with her favorite quote, “Don’t be pushed around by the fears in your mind. Representing the Class of 2020 is Queen Candidate Andrea Carolyn Contreras. Andrea is the daughter of Jose and Josefina Contreras. She is escorted tonight by her father Jose. Andrea is a Senior here at Ganado High School. Throughout her high school years Andrea has participated in Jv and Varsity Volleyball, Track and Softball. She is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Leaders of America and TAFE. In her spare time she enjoys playing volleyball and spending time with her family. Andrea’s most memorable moment of high school is being on the Homecoming Court her senior year. She plans on attending UTHealth School of Dentistry and receive her bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene.
