Ethan Gonzalez and Maria Riojas competed in the 3 point, skid steer attachment class this past weekend, where 1A-6A schools Texas wide came to show their welding , fabricating ,creative skills. Our project grading level was above average, Good ratings and many compliments throughout the day, we came out with a Blue Ribbon. In this class there were around 200 entries in which only a handful of Blue Ribbons were given.
Vincent Barajas competed in the outdoor recreation event with a custom octagon fire pit. Presentation, drawings, welds, squareness, paint, etc. were all rated in the Good checklist.
These students worked extended hours, weekends along with balancing other sports, part-time jobs and other regular classes.
